Alexander Lloyd is a Greek-Australian Actor, Producer and Writer. Desperate to avoid a life in a cubicle, Alexander began his training as an actor in the final year of his law degree. Not long after graduation, he booked his first role in feature film Awoken (Dir. Daniel J Phillips). Best known as Jason in A Second Chance: Rivals and the upcoming 2022 Netflix adaptation, Gymnastics Academy: A Second Chance, Alexander is a versatile and compelling actor across both stage and screen. Alexander is a graduate of Film and Television Studio International and has trained at AMAW Sydney, TAFTA, The Film Space under Aleksi Vellis (Wog Boy), The Impulse Company, Chubbuck Technique with Anthony Brandon Wong, LA Acting Studios as well as being mentored and coached by Andy McPhee (Sons of Anarchy), Jasper Bagg (Thor: Ragnarok) and Peter Blackburn. Alexander's other film and TV credits include: Why Are You Like This? (ABC/Netflix) and La Brea (NBC). His theatre credits include: BlackRock (Dir. Nicola Bowman) Theatre Company, Love's Labour's Lost and Taming of the Shrew (Dir. Jennifer Sarah Dean), You Look Like Your Father (Dir. Marcia Lemm) and Where's My Money (Dir. Hayden Burke). As a writer and producer, his short film Glasshouse (Dir. Nicholas Muecke) was an official selection at The Adelaide Film Festival 2022. A classically trained pianist and singer, Alexander has spent time teaching P.E in Scotland, making Cheese in the Adelaide hills, and making the perfect coffee at home.
