Evgeny Ruman
Evgeny Ruman was born in 1979, in Minsk and in 1990 immigrated to Israel with his family. He graduated from Tel Aviv University in the Film & TV department. Recipient of Excellence Award from Israeli Ministry of Culture for contribution to Israeli film (2013). Recipient of Stern Award for Immigrant Artists from Israeli Ministry of Immigration & Absorbtion (2014). Selected Filmography: 2015 - The Man in the Wall - Premiered at the 2015 Rotterdam IFF, Won Best acting Award at the Odessa IFF, Israel Film Academy Nominee for Script and Lead Actress, Purchased by Netflix for worldwide distribution. 2012 - Igor & the Cranes' Journey - Toronto IFF, Haifa IFF (Special Mention), Chicago Children FF (Adult Jury Prize), Minsk IFF (Best Director in the Family Film Competition).
