Maurice Williams
Maurice Williams is a writer, actor, and producer born and raised in Queens, New York. A storyteller above all, he's has had the fortune of working across multiple mediums. After breaking into the music business at just sixteen years old, Maurice went on to attend Temple University for undergrad, and then, UCSD to earn his M.F.A. He then started his professional career as an actor on some of the most beloved stages in New York (New York Theatre Workshop, EST, The Rattlestick Theater, Playwrights' Horizons). After relocating to Los Angeles, he enjoyed continued success as an actor, before transitioning to his true passion: writing for the screen. Of all this, he's most proud that he knows every Jay-Z lyric. Ever. Challenges accepted. Oh, and: one time, at a party, Rihanna grabbed his butt. ...Okay, the Rihanna thing didn't happen. But he swears, she smiled at him. Once. It hasn't been confirmed.
